Special Olympics Opening Ceremony 2019
Fri June 7, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm CDT
The Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show will be performing in the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics Summer Games in Illinois on June 7, 2019. Bringing dog lovers an exciting performance of dog sports: Frisbee Disc, Dog Agility Racing, High Jumping, and Canine Freestyle Dance! An incredible dog show with some of the most athletic dogs you will ever see, with enthusiasm and a love for playing that shows.
Featuring an international team of dogs, the highlight of the show includes DJ Pan and Blanco Kim from South Korea. Blanco Kim performed at the XXIII Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea in 2018.
Most of the dogs have been adopted from shelters, rescue groups, or were found as strays. Leading by example, we encourage families to ADOPT their next dog, as every dog has the potential to be a Star. Our mission is to inspire dog owners to build a strong interactive relationship with their best friend, through dog sports and training. Every year we save dogs from shelters, rescue groups or off the streets, but we make the biggest impact by inspiring others to rescue, too. Our aim is to inspire and educate youth…with compassion for the underdog, we demonstrate that teamwork makes the impossible possible.
